Sister Aishah Schwartz, the Director of Muslimah Writers Alliance (MWA), writer, mentor, photo journalist, public speaker, mother, grandmother, daughter, loving friend – I could go on and on about her and all that she has done for others, may Allah Ta’aala reward her, but instead I ask that you will do what you can to help. It’s been eight years since she moved to Egypt and she is well overdo for a visit with her family and loved-ones stateside.
As a mentor and the Director of MWA, an internationally based collaboration of Muslimah writers and advocates established in 2006, her guidance, advice, support, friendship and poetry has contributed to the publication of The Muslimah Speaks: Her Voice, Her Spirit, and she continues to be an inspiration to Muslimah writers daily.
