Mindworks Publishing is celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week with selections of interfaith poetry. For those who may not be familiar with the event, World Interfaith Harmony Week takes place during the first week of February and is based on The Common Word initiative which called for Muslim and Christian leaders to engage in a dialogue based on two common fundamental religious Commandments; Love of God, and Love of the Neighbour, without nevertheless compromising any of their own religious tenets.
This next video is with Elizabeth Lymer, the author of Religious Rhyme Time! and Hajj Harmonies from Mindworks Publishing; and she is also the co-editor of The Muslimah Speaks: Her Voice, Her Spirit. She recites her poem, Hush Little Baby, as part of the Mindworks Publishing Interfaith Project The Muslimah Speaks: Her Voice, Her Spirit.
