Just A Sujud Of Mine! has been written by Muslimah Poetess, the soul behind which lies an eloquent Dream, a desire to inspire the world by raising Islamic awareness amongst the Muslim Youth and the Ummah at large to remind them of their sole purpose on this Earth – to be a slave of Ar-Rahman and of the honor of worshipping one lord.
She has a sincere yearning to leave behind clear imprints on this nasty path of life, so that perhaps the lost souls can fetch their ways back to the Divine Guidance by His will. This poem has been featured in The Muslimah Speaks: Her Voice, Her Spirit.

Just A Sujud Of Mine!
In those Lovable Mesmerizing Eyes,
A storm of tears silently hides,
The vast sanctuary where the emotions and pain simultaneously reside,
Yet, tears release them all, in just a Sujud of mine,
The solution to every issue, is just a Sujud of mine,
In seasons of disasters and breezes of Calamities,
In times of terrors and rains of pathetic realities,
A perfect approach to calm every nerve, is just a Sujud of mine,
To be assured of a safe tomorrow, all I need is just a Sujud of mine,
The fluttering of the hearts, the ailments of the soul,
The heaving of the chests, the nursing of the hurt, with the sins taking their toll,
Amidst the confusion and threat, relief is just a Sujud of mine,
A source of Sakinah, is just a Sujud of mine,
When the fall is harder, wound is deeper and narrow is the path,
When voices are unheard, dreams shattered with an ending which will never have a start,
Across those circles of sorrows, bliss is just a Sujud of mine,
A treasured Rahmah is just a Sujud of mine,
To stand up, back on the feet again,
Leaving behind the defeat, for seasons of change without any stains,
For that immense strength and courage, all I need, is just a Sujud of mine,
Dignity, Love and Fulfillment, is just a Sujud of mine,
Hope, faith and trust, is just a Sujud of mine,
The conversation with the Divine Entity, in just a Sujud of mine,
The ability to carry on after an awful blow, is just a Sujud of mine,
When the cloud of enormous tears blurs the vision,
When the raging mind blocks the ability to think, leaving things in utter confusion,
Clarity toward the pathway which is right is just a Sujud of mine!
Like a burning candle in the dark, innate guidance without any sight is just a Sujud of mine!
The covering of my frailty, the concealment of my flaws,
Healing for my wounds and scars, the undying strength to face the open jaws,
Of a world of deceit and deviance. The ultimate truth is just a Sujud of mine,
In a world of loneliness and isolation, the feeling of being “back home” in the company of the righteous is just a Sujud of mine!
